We begin with Foundation Classes at 9:00 am, where adults and youth study the same material (youth meet separately). From 9:30–10:00 am, everyone is invited to enjoy Coffee and Conversation before The Gathering begins.

The Gathering starts at 10:00 am and typically lasts about 75 minutes. 

Our Sunday mornings are designed for the whole family. We begin with Foundation Classes at 9:00 am, where adults and youth study the same material (youth meet separately). From 9:30–10:00 am, everyone is invited to enjoy Coffee and Conversation before The Gathering begins.

The Gathering starts at 10:00 am and typically lasts about 75 minutes. You’ll experience a meaningful blend of contemporary and traditional worship led by our music team, along with teaching rooted in Scripture. Foundation Kidz meets during the sermon portion, then joins the rest of the church for the final songs and communion.

Our Gathering is on Sundays at 10 am at 311 E Grove Street, Kawkawlin, MI 48631.  We also have a Foundation Class on Sunday at 9 am with coffee and conversation to follow at 9:30 am in the church basement.

At Foundation Church, you’ll see everything from jeans and hoodies to dresses and button-downs. Come just as you are and wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. You’ll find a relaxed, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment—we’re far more concerned about you and your heart than what you’re wearing.

At Foundation Church, we are passionate about teaching and training children to follow Jesus and make disciples. The gospel is central to every ministry, and each week children learn from God’s Word and see how all of Scripture points to Christ.

Foundation Kidz (Pre-K–5th grade) is a Bible-based, Christ-centered teaching time that takes place during the message portion of the Sunday Gathering. Check-in happens before the service in the front foyer. Our goal is that every child who grows up at Foundation will go through the Bible three times before entering middle school.

Children are also a welcomed and essential part of our Gospel Communities. As families eat, laugh, play, pray, study God’s Word, serve, and walk through life together, children learn what it means to be part of the Body of Christ and discover that their spiritual family is bigger than they ever imagined.

At this time, Foundation Church does not host a mid-week worship gathering. Instead, we place a strong emphasis on our Gospel Communities (GC), which meet throughout the week in homes and around our local area. We believe God designed spiritual growth to happen best within a meaningful, Christ-centered community, so we intentionally encourage participation in Gospel Communities and the building of authentic relationships beyond Sunday mornings.

A Gospel Community (GC) is a small, multi-generational group that meets regularly in homes to share meals, study God’s Word, pray, and live on mission together. GCs are where we grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and learn to practically Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples.
